These incubators are specially designed by Eagar Inc. to create the ideal environment for eyeing and hatching large quantities of eggs with minimal water flow and low mortality rates. These units incubate most finfish eggs (non-clustered) and are used during green stage as well as eyed stage. Non-corrosive plastic construction consists of ABS plastic composite at the top and base. The body is clear acrylic. The clear acrylic wall allows easy viewing of the eggs (exposure to bright light and sunlight must be avoided). Water enters the container via a gravity flow stand pipe or a closed piping system. The hemispherical bottom of the incubator diffuses the water upward through a screen and mat on which the eggs rest, providing the eggs with required oxygen. Optional glass marbles (5/8" diameter) will provide additional diffusion and will assist in evenly distributing and balancing the water flow when placed in the incubator below the screen assembly. Water exits at the top of the unit over a wide, pitcher pour spout. The incubators are made from a non-corrosive, non-toxic plastic construction. They are easy to maintain and are available in three sizes.
