This 12V aerator is made for salt water or fresh water applications.  Water is drawn up within the aerator and passed through high pressure slots which stand above the water line. This process facilitates a forced mixture of air and water, which adds oxygen to the water, and helps eliminate toxic gases and waste. Helps increase fish production and loss of fish.  Idea for cold, deeper water and will keep water open in winter. Great for transport fish tanks too!  Comes with standard plastic coated carbon steel screen.
